The first talk:
Eye contact. Very important. Look them in the eye, people need to know they have your attention. It makes them feel special. Don't spend all your time talking to them though. You have to seem interesting to them. If they have all your attention they don't have to fight for it. You must not make yourself so available.
Leave yourself open to others. Get others in your converation.
Smile! People like being around happy people. That is true. Trust. So smile be happy. Besides it's just life. Don't take anything to heavily.-wink-
Touching them: Now this ones tricky. Do touch but don't really touch. If you touch them they know you like them. And that is bad. But if you go around touching everyone your gonna look stupid. And since you cant single them out... don't touch. The do touch means you may go into their personal space. Such as, when you want to make a point you can gesture towards them a little. If the guy across the room knows you like 'em you have gone too far. The trick here is not to pin yourself down. You can not let them know you like them. Very important. You can't let them get the upper hand. If they know where your coming from they aotomaticaly have it. So don't do it.
Before you leave it's always a nice gesture to shake people hands and say shit like "Nice meeting you," Hope to see you again sometime", I had fun, we'll have to do this again some time" . You know open ended stuff. Polite shit. Nice people are cool. The neato thing about this is the hand shake test. The longer the hand shake lingers the more the person digs you. But don't just shake the person your interested in hand. Nope, if your gonna do it, do it right, shake everyone hands.
So now your ready to leave. Good job. Now, don't say anything to the effect that you like the person and don't make plans to do anything else with them. Let them call you. If they don't have your number and they want to get in touch with you they will most likely go through one of your friends. Cool so leave and Let them wonder. Let them ask the silly questions in their mind. "Did she smile at me?, Did you see the way she was looking at me?, She must like me. But wait she was talking to Brian too. Hey she smiled at him too. What's up does she like me or not?" Good thing about this is that he's thinking of you and now he has to know. Now he wants you to like him. He dosen't want to be wrong now does he....-smirk- See how that works????? |
