| We're Tomorrows Nobodies(formerly known as Dead Democrat). We started in October/November of 04' and have recorded 2 demos and we have a new EP coming out soon. As for right now we may be playing some shows/parties in May/June and if you're listening to the old demo(the one on this page), we've totally changed. I don't really like doing bio's but here's a short story I guess(from my, Ryan's, point of view):
Over the past 2 years I had been trying to start a band playing covers of old Epitaph bands and writing songs about Monica Lewinsky give me a blowjob and blowing up bathroom stalls and shit like that. None of those projects worked because bass players and guitarists would flake out and me and my drummer would be left by ourselves. I almost gave up on my dreams of starting a band. I then moved to little street in the suburbs(Grantham Lane represent!!) where my good friend Kevin lived, he played drums and he had a friend who I knew years earlier named Jake. Jake and Kevin were gonna start a band but it didn't work so I asked Jake if he wanted to start a band since he had a bass and after about a month after forming this idea we decided Kevin would be our drummer. After practicing in Kevin's room as a 3-piece for about 2-3 weeks and playing Ramones covers and me keeping a very shitty tempo(which I still do) in front of our ..1 fan Flerine. We then started looking for a lead guitarist since I basically suck on guitar and can't play those fancy things called "solos". We put ads up in Jammin Johns and looked around school and thought of our friend Trace who was in a formar rival band called Instant Classic. He practiced with us after about a week we said, "Hey why doesn't Trace be our lead guitarist?". Trace then became the 4th and final addition to the Dead Democrats. We worked for about 2 months and recorded our first demo in December of '04. We hated that demo so we re-recorded 2 tracks and added our self-titled track Dead Democrat. Some people liked it and that pushed us to start progressing more. We had about a month hiatus where we didn't practice and I was upset with the way things were going and we couldn't find a practice space and I was gonna leave the band. I changed my mind and stuck with the band, I'm really glad I made that decision to stay. I really enjoy how things are going and we might actually pull something off. We are probably the only real punk/hardcore band to come out of Jacksonville, NC in a long while, this town is mostly metal heads and goths music wise. We plan to assault your ears and fill your heads with new knowledge. Writing songs that are political/personal/and jokes, we're here to stay for a long time and our goal is to turn Jacksonville upside down with our blend of a lot of different genres and covers of oldies.
