for the record? I've never liked C sheets. Nope, of all the things that are a part and parcel of the whole roleplaying phenemonon, nothing could be lamer.

"My C has an appearance of 5!"
right yeh, & by who's standards? Yr average Joe Lamestain would think a C whose look was represented by a photo of Jennifer Lopez photoshopped to have this fantasy C name on it would be very impressed.
I, on the other hand, fuckin' hate supermodels. To me, such a C would have an appearance of -2.

Come on, who are we kidding here??? We're kids too grown up to just squat ont he sidewalk and play make believe anymore, so we have to make it appear more sophisticated and nerdy by applying rules.
I've always been a pretentious self-termed 'punk'; rules to me aren't worth dealing with. Be that as it may. I started this rant in order to write a brief rundown of the powers my Cs have got. are these things particularly up-to-snuff by WoD code? fuck no. I'm so zippy I don't know why ppl DO play with me- my main C is based on a DEAD rock star!!!
dont' bug me with details and C sheet stuff.

Tay

Tay Hawkins is probably my zippiest C. The only thing that prevents him from being a 'godmode' C is he never uses most of what he has the potential to do. Tay is more or less pacifist (for a vampyre; he does from time to time kill & eat, and he WILL defend himself if he sees no way around it); unless you get him really really really pissed, he's more likely to try to talk his way out of a fight than be in one. He's very childlike in his naivete, and his most likely reaction to an insult isn't to uberkill the insulter, like yr average godmoder. More likely, he'll just crawl under a table and sulk.
That having been said, Tay can uberkill if he wanted to.
Having Kirke's already weird blood, he has since also, in sort of blood-sex-majik diablerie type of ways, drank from a primogen, a faery, a demon, and a shapeshifter, and has powers drawn from all of this. Tay's primary power/weapon are his claws. More demon claws than vampyre's, they sort of retract INTO his fingertips; when distended, they sort of break from the tips of his fingers and harden in air, adding a full two inches of bone to his fingers. Added to his extreme speed, he can make julienne fries of enemies with the velocity of a school of piranha, but again, you really need to piss him off bigtime.
He rarely uses them in this fashion. Often as not, His primary attack is to distend his claws and backhand slap an enemy; because he is very strong, and the claws are very hard, this is the equivalent of being hit with a bludgeon. Depending how weak the C he strikes is, and how hard he's hitting, this will almost always render an opponent unconscious, and may kill some humans.
Tay can fly.
Again, not well. Essentially, he needs a running start, and can only hover, a little wobbily, at about a maximum height of 60 feet. He's scared of extreme heights and lands poorly, so he doesn't do this often. He doesn't fly very fast either, so if he takes to the air, it takes the edge off his speed; his maximum flight speed would be at about a horse's gallop, and usually he flies much slower. he can carry the weight of another in flight, but this almost always guarentees a bumpy landing.

Tay is very very very fast. This is by far his most used, and greatest skill. He does use it for hunting, but mostly he does it for fun, or to dodge danger. He can move so quickly even other vampyres don't see him move; his favorite way of moving like this is a sort of on-all-fours canter.
Tay has lots and lots of majik potential, but knows very little majikal discipline. Those of you who have seen me play this C know; he doesn't come off as all that bright. He IS smart (in some ways smarter than the other two vampyres in his family); but he reasons slowly; taking all factors into account. He's incredibly attentive to detail; this often gives the impression to the opposite; that he's a space cadet. He does, however, have an intuitive feel for majik, and therefore can do things from time to time disciplined mages would consider impossible. Not cos he's a better/stronger magician than them, but because noo one ever told him he couldn't do that stuff. Tay can feel, sense and channel pure chaos majik. The backlash tho, is as bad as it would be for a trained magician, and he knows there is backlash, so he doesn't undertake to use his majik lightly. He can portal with extreme ease. He can shield himself or others with as much ease; he both heals quickly and can heal others, but with expenditure of his own energy. He can read others' minds to an extent, and can 'borrow' another's body for limited amounts of time if he can catch their mind offguard. He can astral travel and knows the afterlife planes pretty well. He can channel chaos majik into the form of weapons- leven bolts mostly, altho if he were pissed enough, he could probably, if inclined to, level a building. But why would he want to? He'd be too concerned for the other lifeforms inside. Like most magicians, he can call Final Strike down if completely overwhelmed. (Final Strike is the ultimate kamikaze spell; the magician dies, but so does everyone in a certain radius around him. For a C who knows the afterlife to call Final Strike would be no big deal; he'd just wake up dead and get to work on getting undead again.) He may know other things, but it's hard to say; he just seems to feel his way along as it's called for. Tay would benefit greatly from training; or be a weapon in the hands of anyone who could trick him into working for them.

Kirke

Kirke HAS some majik potential, being a Wraith and also part Tremere, but it's fairly minor, as he doesn't work with it much. He can mindsend (as can all of his 'family') and has healing ability both of his own, and upon others. Add to that he knows a lot about anatomy, and is of course a walking Physician's Desk Reference and he makes one handy substitute doctor.
Kirke can shield himself if he sees a blow or majik attact coming and it's not too devastating. he has a strange charisma and can charm most victims into coming to him, and seems to hold a great deal of persuasion over his fledglings and blood dolls; they both love and fear him, and no matter how much abuse he hurls at them, they stay with him and defend him if he is threatened.
Kirke has the vampyre discipline auspex, and a simular Wraith skill; this makes him a sort of a projective empath. he can read the feelings of and surface thoughts of any but the most shielded minds; he can also gain energy from extreme emotions. this energy can be thrown as a weapon if he so chooses. he rarely does, but this skill is his most devastating power. imagine you are chasing this smallish man, causing immense fear in him. suddenly, like a weapon, he hurls that fear back at you tenfold! for a moment, you are caught there, in an unexplainable, irrational terror. meanwhile, Kirke can grab you or beat a hasty retreat. he has some martial arts abilities picked up in his time in the afterlife. he can use nunchuku well, and is able to fight with short sword and throwing knives. his most lethal weapon is his 'strangle-cord'; two pieces of wood he holds in either hand, joined by a guitar string. With this he leaps on the back of larger attackers or prey and, winding them in this, proceeds to ride the victim until they black out or die. He also carries at times a sawed off reloading shotgun. Rumor has it this is the very weapon that killed him, which would make it a Fetter, a very powerful majik talisman as well as an effective firearm.

Dave

Dave is a wuss. He can't fight any better than your average vampyre, and prefers not to fight if he can help it. He does, strangely, have some of the vampyre discipline Dominate; he can call victims to him and, when being persecuted, his cries of "LEAVE ME ALONE!" will occasionally make the attacker actually leave off. He does, however, become murderously bloodthirsty if starved, and is then completely unpredictable.
