WATERSONG
WATERSONG

The water waits for me.
I am hungry, I long for the days.
My waves will roll, twice 'round the earth.
Unhindered by the land, unchained in a body
of water.

No reflection of the soul. All the stars and ship's remains.
I watch bemused,
pulled by the chains.

Arms relax, and by arms enfold
the crushing depths when love is cold.
A fading thought, in a face.
Giving up air, I've thought this through
better kissing the waters, than drowning in you.
