RACHEL GOES TO THE MOVIES AND KEEPS HER LUNCH DOWN
Recently, I finished a course on cult film at VCU and did several reviews for my term paper. I called it "The Wonderful World Of Ichor" and I reviewed gore films that I found important to the genre. Unfortunately, I could only do about twelve, so I tried to show variety in my choices, from trash gore king H. G. to Bava and Fulci, to the seminal gore film "The Flesh Eaters" which I loved!!! I had the help of my friend who owns a cult video store in Richmond called Diabolik(the store). I call him Donnybolik, by the way. His name is Donny and he was one of the members of NKOTB. Of course, I am lying to keep you interested.
Anyhoo, I really enjoyed writing the paper. I received an A, of course. So I want to do more. Let me explain my rating system.
The first category includes movies that I completely hated. So when asked thumbs up or down, I couldn't even give them thumbs.
The second category is made up of movies which will be good or bad depending entirely upon your mood. I will offer suggestions for when to view them, of course.
The third category of movies are ones that you must see or you will die. Or not.
