As I found myself trying to work through the pain of having watched the movie Batman and Robin, I sought help from a reliable source, my local neighborhood head shrinker...
Hmmm, actually, the closest thing to a local anything in my old neighborhood was the creepy old man who would wander around mumbling, gap-toothed, and smokey. So I asked him for advice, and as he started to rant about the government and its obvious intent on stealing his tinfoil hat, I noticed the assorted doll heads pinned to his coat. While his raving was reaching a fever pitch, I considered and decided upon a creative outlet for working through my pain. And since playing with dolls had obviously helped him cope with not only the ever-present threat of alien mind control, but the C.I.A.'s continued co-operation with, I hit on an idea.
And, as he began throwing Richmond Dog Offal(R.D.O.) and furiously crutching after me, I was thankful for his help. So, I smiled and waved at him, ducking behind the corner laundry just in time to miss being hit by a Slurpee cup full of urine.
