The Naked Thruth -Welcome to the first Edition of The Naked Thruth- November 17, 2003. First of all, I want to advise everyone that is reading my Naked Thruth column, that my primary language is french, so sometimes maybe you will wonder why I phrased some sentences like they are or you simply won't understand. I'll do my best! =) Secondly, I would like to thank Deadbeat for several reasons.He is doing a lot right now for the WeBL community, especially for the Canadian Region. He is in charge of both the Canada East and the nCo Websites.And he gave me this very appreciated opportunity to comment our great game: WeBL. The very first topic I want to talk about are the Junior Olympics. I want to say that I feel honored to be part of the Canada East Squad. And I think that if all the other CanEast managers put as much effort as needed, I expect us to finish in the top 5 Regions in the Tournament.And Wilkie will have to pay at least for 4 medals.Let's hope he's a man of honor. After almost 3 years of playing this game, it felt a bit weird to be a JUNIOR olympian, but you know what, I don't mind at all. I'm eligible to do it, and I will work my ass off to bring back at least a medal from the games. I know a lot of you think: "That NakedlorD sure does suck...no WT's in almost 3 years...""Who's he to comment on WeBL?" But you know what? I love this game. I enjoy every minute I spend scouting, picking my boxer's training, modifying or creating FP's. I've even shown the game to a lot of my buddies and spent a lot of time helping them, often leaving me insufficient time to take care of my too many boxers.You have to know that, 3 months ago, I had never read Albino's or Dover's or any Help Pages.I didn't care.I was improving slowly but surely. That's all that mattered. Hey, I won almost 100 RT's by myself.I didn't even read the Press Releases and the Forums.I didn't care. I never even considered joining a clan.I knew they existed, but I didn't care. Then, Mr. Badass (you have my respect, man) sent me an e-mail to ask me if I wanted to join nCo.I don't know why, but the offer was interesting.Canada East caliber was rising, I sensed tougher times ahead... And all of the sudden someone wants me in their clan? I joined and checked out the forums and decided to give it a try.I learned A LOT.It was the missing link for me.And now with UFOD with us, another solid piece of puzzle is going to strengthen us even more. If you are not in nCo, you can't understand how strong this Clan is gonna get. I can't finish this article without talking about Wilkie "Loud Mouth Per Excellence".He says he's only thrash talking the other Can East managers to get them to improve and rise to His level.2 conclusions can come out of this.He talks too much OR... If his provocation had stopped earlier, I would've believed him.But now he won't stop.He enjoys all the attention he's getting.But the little boy inside is scared.That's why he ducks fights.He un-retired only 1 boxer, In Welterweights.He wanted to avoid the IP's so bad, his only possible adverseries were Killer Kilgour or Yellow.No offense Yellow, but your sissy just won't make it vs Wilkie.Too bad for you, and maybe you're gonna say you don't want my respect Wilkie, but before I started reading the Press Releases and Forums, you had my respect.
