The team isn't much of a team. It's more of a duo now. Logan and Jason are the only DF crew members who skate anymore. Justin does sometimes, mainly on weekends, Pascal only cares about having a band (which he doesn't have), Nick is "taking a break" whatever that means, and Lance and Beans are out in other states and to my knowledge they're still the little skate rats we knew them as and infact they will be coming down here this summer. DF (Logan and Jason) has been getting a good amount of footage recently, along with the fortune team. Zane has been the taxi for both crews. Logan brought us one gnarly handrail bail. The attempt is in his profile. The result is below. It was sick.
 Bashed eye, nose and chin
Kevin of the original Dead Fish Team will be coming back to the motherland this summer. A road trip to the new skate Plaza in Ohio is a possibilty. But he will mostly be staying here in San Antonio with Jason. Skating will be plentiful once K-Dogg arrives. Dead Fish over and out. |

A new year has began for the Dead Fish Team and this means lots of new ideas and new material. People just have to get their priorities straight. Like when I want to take a picture of somebody for the site you have to do something other than flatground or do a trick I haven't already taken a picture of. There is a whole skateark to do things on now, use all of it! Well I'm sorry for the lack of updating. We'll try to do better. There's a new picture in Art if you didn't know. |

Not much has been goin on in the way of team interaction. Pascal is grounded, Logan is playing basketball, Justin never comes on base anymore, Lance moved, Beans moved, and Nick might as well have moved. I'm skating, who else is? There have been a few good sesions with Justin. The elementary sesh was cool. New tricks new lines, but it's all on Andrews camera so I don't have any pictures.
SKATEPARK GRAND OPENING SATURDAY DEC. 11 AT 11:00, be there or be square. Free food, music, skating, three demo teams, free products, and HOT CHICKS!!! Wait nevermind, no hot chicks will be there. But it's still gonna be killer. Bring your friends for the grand opening, but don't come every again if you're not cool. This park should spark many new pictures and the team skating together more often. So be on the look out for more media. |

Well, Logan and Jason went to TSR this past weekend. Jason's brother and Chase came along for the ride too. It was youth center trip which only costed $10. Normally an all day pass would be aroun $30-$40, so it was a steal. The facility is really nice. They have a pretty good skatepark and a nice cable wakeboarding course. Jason felt like he layed down some good stuff for his first trip to the park. Being the best one in the park at the time was a big change. Chase and Logan learned to drop in finally. Logan had an extreme mental block while he stood on the deck of the mini ramp. At the end of the day he finally went for it. Logan succesfuly dropped in for the first time in his life.
Jason - Smith to beat Chase in a game of skate.
After skating for a good two or three hours we decided to try wakeboarding. The cable course has a wire runnin all the way around it. It's about as high as a telephone poll above the water. On the cable there are lines for you to grab on to. You sit on the dock and the line yanks you off the dock and if you know what yuour doin you'll ride off on the course equiped with ramps and rails of different sizes. Man that shit was hard. If you've never wake boarded before you have atough time gettin the feel of it. Since the cable lines yank you it's tough to get used to. Chase was the only one who made it around the whole course. He actually busted a nollie 180 on flat-water which was really cool. Chase had gone wake boarding before though so he had a feel. Logan, Jason, and Derrick never got it. If we would have been ablle to try just a few more times we would have probably gotten it but no, we had to leave so it the fun ended. Just before we left we went back to the skatepark and this is when Logan dropped in finally. His dad said he'd buy him aT-shirt if he did it, and he did. Chase decided to go for one more run on the mini. After learning to drop in that day, he tried a rock to fakie and broke his wrist. Crazy shit! And that was the end of the day.
Not much else has happened. |

Things are goin kid of slow. Pascal is grounded, so he can't skate, instead he gets to stay home and work on the video. If you didn't know the Dead Fish Texas promo is now up and ready for your enjoyment. I put a new very short video up too. It's just a flashback to Germany and some of the footage I found. I also made ths song. I forgot to put that in the credits. Hopefully we'll be able to get some more footy this week. Whoa, they're actually doin something to the skatepark. Right now it's a big mound of dirt, but that means they're actually doin something. Hopefully it'll be finished soon. End |

Bean's and Jason skated today. Bean's actually was grounded but snuck out of his house. We skated with Jake out in front of his house. Bean's probably got his last few peices of footage today. One because he's moving Next Friday, and two because he's probably in crazy trouble for sneaking out. Jason figured out something amazing. He finally figured out how to kickflip down stuff. Consistently landing on the board everytime, rolling away half the time, down the gap in front of Jake's house. It's not a big gap, but it's big enough. Amazing! Jason thought he bound to kickflipping flatground for the rest of his life but now he has learned and will not forget. Pascal is still working on the promo, but it is rumoured that it will be done soon. So be on the lookout. |

Today Juatin was officially inducted into the honorary society of the Dead Fish. He still has a part in Fortune, but they don't do anything anyway. GOOD pictures will be added soon.
Nick is also stil on the team because he skated with us today and a little on Saturday. He's safe for now.
Jason landed a heavy trick today. Heavy because of how much it was weighing down on his mind a lot. All I can say is it has to do with a bike rack. |

First, news from yesterday: Logan also discovered his sbility to comunicate with squirels. I spotted a squirel in the grass by the basketball court and I saw it had two big fat nuts in it's mouth. They were like miniature watermelons, about the size of ping-pong ball. It hought it looked funny so I tried to take a picture but I couldn't get close enough. Logan started to make some crazy squeaking noise and the squirel slowy started moving towards us. It was probably about five feet away from us and I got a good picture of it. It was INSANE! Wow, what an event.
 Logan's squirel
Today, Pascal, James, Andrew, and Justin all skated together and it was pretty crunk. We skated the by ditch by the ele scho. We had a few good games of skate goin at the basketball court by the ditch. And that's all I feel like writing so enough, end this now!! |

Lance, Logan, Jason and Pascal went on a daily skate mission today. Pascal left early due to hunger issues. Lance landed switch kickflips today and Logan nollied a curb. Jason didn't do jack shit. He landed 13 kickflips in a row and now realizes how dumb it was. Lance landed a 180 down a minimal setup, fairly gnarly, grass gap. Pictures soon. Today was Nick's birthday and he recieved a new deck, and this time it's not a mini (wise decision). Though it would not be a wise decision if Nick didn't come skating with us by the end of this week because then he is off the team, due to lack of commitment. End of todays report. |

Randolph Air Base is finally underway with the skatepark. The old tennis court is the location of the new facility. The fence has been taken down in order to resurface the ground. They are definetly moving along, though the speed of there efforts is unknown. Hopefully they will move swiftly in constructing this new area for us skateboarders, as it is clear to us that they don't want us on the street.

The skatepark as of now. |
