To your delight you find yourself back on an actual paved road. You carry on a long it for a little while until you notice the walls of Pickering Castle. This is even more pleasing as you have been to Pickering Castle during the daylight before so know how to get from there to the station very easily. It will take you a while to walk round the castle perimeter. How much quicker it would be to cut through the middle of the ruins...
