As it gets later into the evening the lights round the edge of the lake come on. They give off a pleasant red glow. If it had been summer you could have walked across the bridge and up through the Tree Walk on the island. Of course, being January the bridge gates are closed. You might want to walk round the lake though. Or perhaps you could walk through Peasholm Gap to the North Bay where you could see if there was anything happening at the Corner Cafe. Another option might be to follow the path by the stream up Peasholm Glen towards the Cemetary.

Which will you do?
Wander round the lake?
Walk to the Corner Cafe?
