Philosophy
did I exist before I was born?
and will I exist when my life's been worn?
if people remember me do I still live?
even when I'm no longer able to give?
the 'spark of consciousness' is more like a stream
remembering the good times, and the things that I've seen
my mind is amazing, it can think and feel
letting me run and write and cook a meal
it's truly wondrous that I can think
of questions like, Why do I blink?
philosophy may not have all the answers
but all can think, from binmen to dancers
if you don't think about where you came from
your life is nothing but 'boys' and 'Prom'
so, go on and give thinking a try
you might find the answers without your head in the sky.
