Chapter 8: The Siege of Shardon...
A variety of creatures emerged; Orcs, undead, Were wolves, and goblins. They made horrible grunting and hissing sounds. Mixed with the clanking of armour and the thunder of footsteps.
"Quite a menacing sound." retorted Scorponis inspecting the horde.
"Combined with my Scorpian knights this army will be quite unstopable."
"Indeed." growled the voice of Oreck.
Within minutes the two hordes had asembled and began marching towards Shardon, with Scorponis at the lead.
Shardon

On the outskirts of Cordontay lies the old keep of Shardon. Cordontay is nestled inbetween several walls but is to weak to survive a major attack. Shardon was built for the purpose of leading the enemy away from the capital so the populace could escape.
Built out of Dwarven stone, and constructed by masons of Rayhona, this keep is quite strong. There are several flaws in where it's positioned however. The keep can be attacked on three sides, and its main gate is a poor design.
This does not stop king Jorron however, he leads his army to the old keep and prepares for battle.

Unfortunately, Shardon has never gone up against an army of this size.
