Leaving their weapons with the guards, Graynar, Hurokol, and Boldan trudged into the summer court of king Jorron of Cordontay. King Jorron sat above many royal delegates, landlords, and Nobles of Sikaron. He watched the three friends enter his court yard. "So, you have traveled far from Jayhontay to see me?" asked the King smirking, "and why have you come?" "O'king Jorron, have you not recieved our message from Jayhontay on the return of the dreaded Scorpian hordes?" asked Graynar. "A message! All that we have recieved from Jayhontay is two horses and their riders heads!" said Jorron, then he paused, he then realised what events were spinning in this soup of confusion. "The messengers, must have been intercepted by the deady Scorpian knights and their messages destroyed!" said Hurokol stepping in front of Graynar. "I regret, the messages must not have arrived in any of their destinations."
"So it is true then?" said king Jorron, his face devote of happiness and impaled with wrinkles of worry, "They have returned then? These dreaded foes? Scorponis as well?" "At the moment we are uncertain of Scorponis being alive. However, its is likely he has returned." said Boldan stepping infront of Hurokol, and becoming the center of attention. "Enough," said Jorron, rubbing his eyebrows, " you have brought unhappiness and surprise to my summer court. I am now stabbed with fear once again. Scorponis and his hordes brought despair to Sikaron once! And once is enough. We must take an oath, a speech, because now I must explain what we must do." But that statement would have to wait... |
