Chris Leydon, the film's co-maker, visited my house, (Samuel Deacon, the film's other co-maker) to get to grips with the equipment involved in the movie. He is hoping to use his Sony Handicam, which uses Hi8 tapes, although I would want to use a better quality Camera, like a digital one that we could connect up to my PC and edit. We'll figure it out eventually
We've hit a bit of a problem. The script has reached a point where I know what I want to happen but I don't know how to write it into the script. I've been looking at Digital Cameras but they're so expensive. It isn't really going too well.
I've got the script going again now, it's turned out to be better than I thought it was going to be! I am going to upload the trailer for the movie to this page at the weekend, so you will get a glimpse of what the final movie will be like, even though I haven't even finished the script yet!!!

I've just written a small twist into the script, and one person just died, but don't worry, it's nobody important, although he does provide some important information about the plot of the film - I better shut up now before I tell you everything that happens in the film!!!

I have just got some software to burn VCD's and DVD's, so I will be able to make copies of the finished film. The script is now about 1/6 complete, so I hope I will be able to finish it this year somewhen. Hopefully.

Cool! Great news. Storyboards are going well, so's the script, and Chris is getting a Digital Camcorder for his birthday, so we will be able to edit on the computer, plus I've got a bit of cash at the moment so I've been looking at video editing programs. Magix Video 2.0 Deluxe plus looks good, and it's only �60!!! So basically, everything's going well for once. More updates soon.

OK, got a bit of news for you. Chris left school a few months ago to go somewhere else so he's no longer involved in the production. The script hasn't been getting anywhere for months now, but I have been getting some experience with using a video camera and I have already created a few short films with some people down my road. These include "The Retrieval", where two friends must fight their way through a house in order to get a floppy disk, and a spoof of "Crimewatch" where two helpless girls are attacked.
If I have time I may continue with "The Devourer", or even begin working on another project, but I've got a lot of coursework on my plate at the moment so I may not have time.
