	The Liberals versus the Conservatives

	I am an avid talk radio listener. Monday through Friday I listen to Boortz, Kimmer, O'reilly, Royal and sometimes Limbaugh. Show after show I hear the same term thrown around as if it were a virus "Liberal". "Liberals this and Liberals that". The liberals want to do this to our country and they are all wrong". The Liberals would have you to believe this, that and the other. The Bush administration has dragged this country into a war based on lies and deception. The facts are in and they prove that Bush and his henchmen knowingly ignored facts and the allies we used to have to unwarrantedly invade Iraq. The fact that the excuse for invading Iraq has changed six or seven times does not cause these one-sided talk show hosts to blink is frightening. The fact that the war started over "Weapons of mass destruction," but now all we hear is how we need to liberate Iraq. I didnt get the memo that Iraq wanted to be liberated by America or George W. Bush, nor did they want America to assert is practice of hegemony. These same hosts were screaming to high heaven that something had to be done about Bill Clinton having consentual sex and that he committed illegal acts for not stating that he had sex. George Bush lied to get into a war and now American lives are being lost daily but you hear nothing out of these rating hungry morons. Fact after revealing fact indicting George Bush is simply ignored and labeled "Liberal desperation to attack George W. Bush" by theses hosts. Daily I hear liberal this and liberal that. About how liberals are socialist and how they spend "Our" money for programs we dont need. These shows do more harm than good and they prey on the weak-minded. I am an avid listener but I am able to discern the truth from spin. Most Americans cannot tell the truth from a outright lie and it is humorous to hear callers say that they agree wholeheartedly with these hosts. Liberals take so much heat on the radio because the hosts are mostly conservatives that feed off of each other for ideas and validation. These "Fair-weather topic" hosts use hyperbole and create environments that dont solve issues but exacerbate them. I am not a Liberal, Conservative, nor Libertarian, I consider myself a conscious American that considers all sides of an arguement. Personally there is no Liberal or Conservative, there is only "Who is getting the job done"? With all of this talk of Liberals and Conservatives, it has become like street gangs on the radio. Callers state that "Liberals need to be stamped out," and host of these shows encourage these hostile responses. I have issues with so-called Liberals and conservatives. They both lie and manipulate an American public that doesnt take the time to learn the issues for itself. Americans have placed themselves in a position to allow these parasites to take advantage. We dont want to vote or listen to the politicians, but we always have opinions and gripes when the bull hits home. I truly believe that talk radio has a place in society and I wouldnt want to censor any show but I do wish that the American people would get off of their asses and wake up to politicians and talk show hosts.
