Fox News

The Fox News Channel should come with a warning label that reads Warning this is not news but entertainment brought to you by the far-right.  The channel sells itself as Fair and balanced while exposing itself to be a conservative vehicle in which party cheerleading runs unabated. The token democratic representatives that are invited to appear are lackeys that couldnt compete in a high school debate class.  The channel has a cast of outcasts that appear as Experts such as Oliver North, Ann Coulter, Newt Gingrich and the ever trustworthy Mark Furman. Aside from the usual suspects the Fox remains the George Bush damage control unit which spins and distorts the issues surrounding our Psycho and Chief. Fox is so Milk Toast that it smacks of Birth of a Nation propaganda when viewing. The viewers of Fox consist of mostly white males that could not distinguish Coke from Pepsi or truth from falsehood. The old Hollywood slogan of Give the people what they want, still holds true.  Many may agree that they have become disenchanted with the press and well as Hollywood but continue to view and patronize.  The face of the media has changed and will not recover because the public craves chicanery and bawdiness in their information and entertainment.  Fox is successful because the public doesnt challenge its merit on information.  It arose from a need to push the conservative perspective but has morphed into a radical right monster. Its viewers receive a pro-government indoctrination that goes against the ideals this country was founded.  Small government and private freedom is what should be championed but Fox is in a catch 22 with its loyalty to the government and the desire to report objective news.  Fair and slanted should be the slogan at Fox.
