While talking to a friend I was told that they didnt want to talk around family members about politics because it would cause problems to express opinions. I inquired about the political affiliation of the family members and was told that they were conservatives. I had an inclination of the affiliation before I was told and my response was ?"That is typical". I cant recall under Reagan or Bush the 1st, the type of polarization that has engulfed this country. Some conservatives are on a rampage when it comes to George W. Bush. They act as if no American can have an opinion unless it is concurrent with the presidents distorted views. Take the War on Terrorism for example, Americans are split on how the issue should be approached, but if you say that you disagree with the president you are unAmerican. When did Americans expressing themselves in America become unAmerican? Isnt that what America is all about? The freedom to voice our disapproval of issues and of people when we want? When did this country become a dictatorship? It appears that it has become one as the Bushs cult members flood the media in defense of their prophet president. He speaks and they obey without questioning his intentions. "Do not anger the W or he will send his henchmen to investigate you like he did Paul Oneill and make you submit to his will". You will find these Bush cult members on the radio debasing Liberals and anyone that has a original thought on issues concerning this country. They bring up Bill Clinton whenever you criticize the "W" to ward off any attempt to tarnish their leaders teflon coating. Nothing is ever the "W's" fault and we must understand that even though he is president everything stems back to Bill Clinton and his administration. Despite proof of wrong-doing the conservative cultists will never admit that their leader is fallible. They are angered if you find fault with the "W" and criticize you for doing so. They will investigate you and dig up your junior high school misconduct to discredit you if you stand up against the "W." God forbid if you say that you agree with the "W" on an issue an then change your opinion because the cult members will haunt you with your original statement as they have done with Howard Dean. You should never be able to change your mind when you find out more about an issue when come to the "W". I think when election time come around we true Americans should send Bush and his cult members back to Texas where they can build a compound and worship him in peace. |
