Review: A classic time trial bike! Many unique and cool features. The Dura Ace AX time trial group had the famous centerpull brakes, aero leather saddle with a keel down the bottom side. Thin, thin shift levers that mounted on top of the downtube and not on the side. The seatpost and stem also had an aero profile. The rear brake was mounted underneath the chainstay. This bike was set up to race against the clock. It is a very fast bike. But it doesn't have all the features of the newer time trial machines. However it was state of the art in its day(mid 80's). Quick handling and not the most stable bike to ride. Quick accelerator and very aero position. Not a super comfortable bike to ride for a long time. Paint job was custom by John Slawta who builds the Land Shark frames by hand in Oregon.
