LaTonya Nicole was born October 20, 1982 in Elkton, Maryland. While she was still little, her parents moved to the suburb area of Delaware called Bear. Throughout her younger years, LaTonya Nicole performed in school plays and sang in the choir.
When she transferred to Charter School of Wilmington in 1997, she had limited resources to excel in acting because the school focused on science and math. After graduating in 2000, she began contemplating starting an acting career.
But, it wouldn't be until Fall 2002 that she would start a steady stream of roles. In early September, LaTonya Nicole tried out for an acting troupe
On September 12, 2002, the day after the terrorist attacks on WTC , Pennslyvania and Pentagon, LaTonya Nicole attended an open call for OTM Model Management The following day she signed with them. Unfortunately due to illnesses, she was not able to work modeling as much as she liked.
In October, she received notice that she was joining the Heritage Acting troupe. She was extremely excited. She also receieved various other roles in theater productions as well as extra and "behind the scenes" work..
On September 3 of this year, LaTonya Nicole appeared on Delaware's cable access channel show, "Artists" where she presented her poetry.
