Danielle Earley's Diary Week Four

This has been the worst week that I have had so far.  Between losing all my data on my disk and being thankful that I had downloaded it to the web site before my disk crashed, to having a death in our family, and fighting with netscape as I am attempting to edit my unit plan.  It seems that nothing has worked well in regards to technology.
I feel that I am a fairly competent person when it comes to technology, so I guess I get frustrated when things do not work the way they are supposed to.  I should remember that computers are stupid and have very limited brains and that is why they do not work well when your asking them to do complicated actions.
I felt good about the practice lessons in excel and completed those fairly easily, but putting it into practice was more difficult because the documents did not want to transfer into html the way they were supposed to.
I also had trouble with downloading my work to the vax because the vax did not recognize my files and therefore would not do the operations that they were supposed to do.
The main problem with being a perfectionist is that perfectionists like things to go on schedule the way I map them out, and when they don't it makes it hard to function.
I had no major insights this week just plugging along with the computer.  I did feel really good about the progress I am making with planning because I planned lesson one this week which I felt really good about.
