The rain, the wet,
Is said to be so dreary,
The rain, teardrops, 
Streaming down from heaven

The rain, the darkness,
Bringing feelings of greater sadness,
How can this be?
What made it so?

The rain, a touch of life,
To soothe a troubled soul,
The rain, sweet waters,
Helping plants to grow,

The rain, such beauty,
Revealing bolder colors,
The rain, a blessing,
A gift given from heaven.
