| By moonlight skies And moonlight sighs I hear my lover's Moonlight cries Her tears fall free They fall for me One by one Into the sea Along the shore I long for more To see my love Walk through the door Her flowing hair Those sparkling eyes Always took me By surprise It's no wonder then I miss her when I look to the sky To hear her sigh I wish once more She'd come through our door And grace my life By being my wife Her very last tear I still hold so dear Just as my arms Held her so near So to my wife I pledge my life To live each day To prevent such strife |
