INTERVIEWS
D.D.:  Then they turn around and say that its derivative.  It sounds like something.  You cant have it both ways.

TIM:  Music is music if its good, its good.  If it sucks, it sucks.

D.D.  For sure.  Whats your opinion on the downloading off the Net?

TIM:  My attitude about that is that you really cant stop it 100% but theres alsosay you had a machine that could manufacture your own auto parts, something you could copy.  If musicians never made any money on music and all of a sudden music is not a viable profession and thats how protectingif you could go into a book store and take a book and I want to copy this book and you put it on a copy machine and you copy it and say,  Im not going to give you any money for it.  That wouldnt fly in a million years!

D.D.:  No.

TIM:  Or if you went in a grocery store and you saw an orange and you wanted to copy it

D.D.:  So, its safe to say youre against it?

TIM:  Yeah, well, dont get me wrong.  If I like a CD and I cant find it anywhere, Im going to burn a copy of it.  My attitude is that if I like something, if someone turns me on to something Im going to go and buy it.
