INTERVIEWS
D.D.:  Its a blues band, with King Biscuit Boy, Richard Newell.

TIM:  Yeah, Walk on Water originated from this guy.  You know, its sad.  I was kind of thinking of writing songs for this guy, so I wasnt really limited myselfit wasnt strictly a blues thing or anything.

D.D.:  Where did you come up with the title (Tales of Sin and Redemption) for the CD?  Were you on a mission to convert?

TIM:  Well, you know, its not a Christian rock thing or anything

D.D.:  Hardly!

TIM:  We were trying, taking a look around the studio and saying, What are we going to call this one? or What are we going to call the recording sessionI cant remember how it came upI think we were working on one of those songs and this talk of redemption came up and we started thinking, It has a nice ring to it..

D.D.:  Like a travelling evangelist type of thing?  Spreading the word?

TIM:  Yeah.  But then you get the other kind of songs like Woodchopper and Oven-Burning Woman with the sexual connotations

D.D.:  Oh, yeah, those seem to be your better kind of songsyou seem to be highly inspired by women!

TIM:  Yeah, we decided half the songs seem to be about redemption and the other half seem to be about sin.  Hey, its all tales of sin and redemption!
