| Coldsweat returned once again to Replays on Saturday, April 7, and while they performed as if the room were packed solid, it was clearly disappointing that the turnout was less than spectacular. Being the closest Toronto has to offer for a consistently high-energy, extremely danceable blues-rock ensemble, it's a shame that more people don't come out to hear them. Granted, one can always stay at home to hear the "original" version of the covers they play, but being a dancer, it's always been more enjoyable for me to hear music "live", whether it's original or not. On this evening, drummer Rob Randazzo was joined onstage by his older brother, Frank Randazzo, who is also an accomplished musician on bass and lead guitar. It wasn't hard to see that both brothers are very proud of each other! Speaking of brothers, lead guitarist Rob Tarticchio's brother was also in attendance, lending his support. Rob T. also assisted Anthony Salvatore in the vocals department, offering up some great harmony. By D.D. Rocker [Excerpt from article published in to-nite, Issue No. 202, April 11-17/2001] |
