On Dylan's debut CD, "HighwayAudioFire", of 80% original tunes, the opening track is "We Ain't in Kansas No More", an upbeat blues-rocker, heavily influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan, I suspect.

The non-original track, B.B. King's "Catfish Blues" (a.k.a. "Rollin' Stone"), is nevertheless transformed into a darkly gothic epic, a la Hendrix.  Truly bewitching!  It strongly reminded me of Paul Fenton's eerie slide guitar technique on his "Binson's Blues" CD.

Dylan's vocals recall early Eric Clapton and it shows up clearly on "Backwoods Mojo", a moderate tempo blues-rocker extolling the virtue of caution to a "Little Red Riding Hood" in a world where "bad people who are in the know; they are looking to steal your soul" and offering his "mojo" charm for good luck to the hapless traveller in the backwoods.

"To Get to You" is a country-rock-blues fusion with a full-out, foot-stomping rhythm, enhanced with harmonica, and "Revka", closing off the CD, is a laid-back but dynamic instrumental track.
