Angrboda: Norse myth, 'anguish boding', also called 'hag of the Iron Wood'. A monsterous witch-like giantess personifying winter and death, Loki's second wife. Mother of Fenrir, Jormungand and Hel as well as the Volsungs and Hati and Skoll. She shares many similarities with Hel.
