Play Options Menu
In the Mode Select screen, highlight arcade mode. Then hold left
and right and press start.
Secret Mode Screen
Select either Arcade or Append Mode at the title screen. Then press up at the difficulty selection screen to display the "Secret Mode" screen. Then press up, up, down, down, up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right, left, left, right, right, left, left, right, right before the timer reaches zero.
Versus Mode Option
Press down and start on controller two at the mode selection screen to unlock the Versus Mode option.
All Music
In the Select Play Mode screen, push right until you hear a Konami sound and it says all music. Then press start. The other option is to start the Playstation with the Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Remix disc, then switch it with a Dance Dance Revolution disc and pick event mode.
Play With The Ending Music
Enter the options menu and set the ending to "2nd Remix." Complete the Arcade Mode without failing. Wait as the credits begin, and a dance cursor will appear. Dance to the ending music and get an "SS" rating. A confirmation sound will be heard if you achieve a perfect and great on every step. Return to the menu and press select. The bonus track will now have an extra track that allows the ending music to be played.
Little Mode
Press select, then left, down, right, down, left, down, right, down, up at the the song select screen.
Hidden Mode
Press select, then press up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up, down at the song select screen. I'm not sure how many, really. Just keep going until you
hear the Konami sound or until you're too tired to keep going.
Mirror Mode
Press select, then press left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right, left, right at the song select screen... same as Hidden, basically.
Right Mode
Press select, then press right 8 times at the song select screen.
Left Mode
Press select, then press left 8 times at the song select screen.
Shuffle Mode
Press select, then press up, down, left, right, down, up, right, left at the song select screen.
Double Mode
Press select, then press up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right at the song select screen.
Another Mode
Press select, then up, up, down, down, up, up, down, down at the song select screen.
Maniac Mode
Press select, then left, left, right, right, left, left, right, right at the song select screen.
Back to Normal Mode
After you unlock Another Mode or Maniac Mode, press up, up at the game mode select screen.
Super Mode
Press up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right at the title screen. This mode allows the game to be loaded faster with fewer moves from the on-screen characters.
Paint mode
Go to the options screen and set "Level" to "7". Next, go to "Max Stage" and set it to "5"(easy), "3"(normal), or "1"(hard). Then go to "Time Limit" and change it to "On". After that, go to "Game Over" and change it to "2nd Remix". Next, go to the title screen and press right, left, right, left, down, down, up, up. Last of all, press select at the menu. This mode allows you to paint your own arrows.
Change Playing Style
Hold "X" and press start to change.
Non-stop Revolution and Order Modes
Complete the Arcade Mode 50 times on the normal difficulty, or 200 times on the hard mode setting.
Secret Characters
In the Mode Selection screen hold left and
press start, or for the other character, hold right and press start.
