Jon was born on August 16, 1986 ~ our third child and youngest son.
He was our miracle baby born 14 years after brother Paul and 12 years after sister Anne. Dennis and I were warned by our doctor not to have children after Anne's birth due to complications in labor and the fact that we carried the RH factor. We were saddened by this news since we wanted a large family, but we did listen to the doctor's advice.
The good Lord however had other plans for our family and we were very excited to learn there would be a new little family member.
I was concerned in the beginning however before learning of this good news since I abused my body with fasting, diet pills and extreme exercise the first 2 months of my pregnancy. I developed toxemia the 8th month and was ordered bedrest until time of delivery. After 21 hours of labor I delivered a healthy 9 � lb. baby boy c-section. Just as our 4 other children, Jon has brought so much joy to our family. He learned to talk before he was a year old and became a genuine chatterbox.
When Jon was 3 years old he deleted all my recipes and addresses on the family computer, and has been fascinated with computers ever since.
Whenever we get a computer virus he removes it with no problem.
Dennis and I homeschooled Jon his sophomore year.
He graduated from Lake High School and Penta Career Center in 2005. At Penta he completed 2 years of Computer Hardware & Networking, where he learned how to build, repair, and network computers.

At Lake High School Jon graduated Top 10 Student ~5th in his class
and he received an honors diploma.
Jon attends University Of Toledo where he is studying Computer Engineering. He has always been on both the deans list and presidents list since his freshman year.
Jon is an intern with Ohio Department Of Transportation where he is a computer programmer and teaches computer programming.
He is also on the advisory committee at Penta Career Center and a Microsoft Certified Professional.
Jon's interests are computers, investing, reading, running, weight lifting and his fiancee' Melissa Kay Reed.
Jon met Melissa at University Of Toledo where she majoring in nursing to
become a nurse midwife.
Jon and Melissa announced their engagement Christmas 2008 and are planning a May 2011 wedding.
