We invite you to participate in our seminar :

Specifications maintenance and operating of modern bomb shelters and bunkers against mass destruction warfare.

Principles:

Identify and distinguish between active and passive bomb shelters. Airtight rooms, isolation rooms, decontamination rooms, main shelter structure, machine room: sewage system, water system, doors, windows, passage of service pipes and cables. Identify common errors in the design and performance of a N.B.C. bomb shelter.

The gas tight factor:

No NBC  (filtration) forced air system will give the requested defense without ensuring the sealing (the tightness) of the shelter structure.

Introduction to the Israeli standard for bomb shelters tightness IIS 4577. Techniques to find leakage in the structure ( smoke candles, ultrasound generators, etc). Approved systems by the IDF  to seal leakage in bomb shelters.  How to design and build the device to “test” the tightness of a bomb shelter .

Practical drill of  identifying and sealing leakages in the bomb shelters . Practical drill of  testing  the tightness of bomb shelter according to IIS 4577.

The operation principles of NBC  filtration system

The principles of a filtration system, calculations (capacity, pressure drop, operation point, Over pressure).  Introduction to the Israeli standard  IIS 4570  that determines the qualification of NBC  filtration system.  Testing a filtration system.  Testing the total functionality of a bomb shelter equipped with a filtration system. The maintenance principles of an NBC filter. Practical drills.

Bomb shelter management

Creating operation procedures for using bomb shelter.  The change into a “protection state”.  Practical drills of people entrance and exit  under attack. The equipment needed in a bomb shelter.

MCT installation training course

MCT  Multi Cable Transit is the most common means to manage cables and pipes penetration to bunkers and bomb shelters. Pre-design and proper  preparations are required in order to ensure the tightness of the passage and its capability to withstand explosions. This course aims to provide the participants with the necessary knowledge for designing and installing the MCT system.  Participants will undergo drills and will be examined both theoretically and practically.
