Welcome to my animation cell gallery. This is where I display all of the animation cells that I have worked on. This has just recently became a hobby of mine. What's that? What's an animation cell? Alright, for those of you who don't know what an animation cell is allow me to explain it to you.
First of all we all know how a cartoon is made, right? An animator draws a character and makes it move on the screen. But, there's more to it than that. Once a character has been created and animated each of those drawings are transferred to a clear plastic sheet called a cell. This is where we get involved with color and all of that fun stuff. The character is then traced onto the cell with a special pen. After that they're painted what ever color is needed. You now have a finished animation cell, which will later be photographed one frame at a time. Each painting is refurred to as a cell. Got it? Good..... |
