Here's a little bit about me and the rabbit world. I first started raising rabbits in 1993 along with my brother. Our grandfather thought this would be a great idea, since he raised them when he was younger. I started out with a NZ White and a Choc Dutch. Not long after that, I discovered Satins, and that's where my heart lies. The Dutch thing didn't last too long, and I gave up the New Zealands in 2004. The Satins however, I am raising Blues, Bkn Blues, Cals, and Whites. I just recently in the past couple of years, started working on the blues and bkn blues, and just got back into the Cals, after a little time off. Still working on getting those varieties going. The Whites, I kinda had a setback with genetics and feed, and am working on getting back to my original lines and quality. Spring 2005 was kind to me. I placed in the top 20 with my 2 White Jr. Does, both of which are litter mates. I also won my first BOB with one of those does a couple of weeks later.
At the present time, I've got 30 brood does, most of which are due to kindle through the month of October. If you're interested in rabbits, please email me let me know what you're interested in. I'm trying to keep the breeding going year-round, so I will try to have something just about all the time. I will not ship rabbits, so you must be within driving distance of the Il. Quad-Cities.
