I am a 41 yr old housewife and mother. I have been married to the same man for over 20 yrs and we have 2 wonderful kids together, boy 19, girl 10. Although I sometimes write from the depths of darkness, I live a life filled with many joys.

I have always loved horror movies, books, etc. I believe we all have a dark side to us, however slight it may be. I write dark poetry and short stories for entertainment and because it pleases me to do so. I'm not suicidal or satanic as one might think from reading some of my works.

I am currently working on other writing projects and hope to have a book published someday. Poetry gives me a break from my other writing and allows me to practice my craft when I find myself stuck in my stories.

I have longed to be a published writer all of my life, however, for over 25 years, I wrote nothing. Why? Read my poem "Invasion."(Written for personal healing.) This episode instilled a fear of offending or hurting someone close to me if my writings were read, therefore, I wrote nothing. Mistake! If you truly want to be a writer you MUST write, write, and write some more.

So, here I am all grown-up with many of life's lessons learned and rapidly approaching mid-life trying to make up for lost time. I write whatever I want and don't give a @#$! what anyone else thinks.

I am a writer. I create. I entertain. Therefore, I am.
