Dean Brown - Bound & Determined
Dean has a 4 year old daughter, Amanda and a dog named Kaluha. Dean resides
in Rosemount, MN. Dean says that he built his 85 Ford Ranger with a couple
of big hammers, some de-greaser, and some rattle cans. Dean said that his
interests are anything - you name it, he most likely has an interest in it.
Truck Specs are: Motor - 2.8 V6, Gears - 345, Axels - Dana 28,8.8 and Tires
are a 31" - for now.
Emmitt Sjoberg - GO VERTICAL
Emmitt (better known as Emmy4wl) is single and he says that all of his
pets are dead. Emmit lives in Lakeville, MN. His wheeler is a 1969 Ford w/
4.11 & 5.38 gears. His axels are locked in the front and spooled in the rear,
running a 302 5.0 engine with 35" boggers or 31" Terra's.
Bob & J.J. Fredrick
Bob & JJ live in Ellsworth, WI. They have a dog named Mickey. Their wheeler
is a 1979 Jeep CJ5 with 5.38 gears, axels are 30 in front and 44 in the rear,
the motor is a 258 soon to be a 4.3, for tires they run 36" Super Swampers.
They are looking forward to getting a 4.3 fuel injection automatic versus
the 258 manual from last year. "No more stalling out half way up a climb!
YE! They love to 4-wheel, fish for King Salmon in Alaska, and hang out with
their friends.
Brian Swanson - 3-wheeling
Brian Lives in Prior Lake, MN. He is single with his black lab - Harley. His
Ford Ranger is a 1985 with 4.56 gears, axels are 44 in the front and 9" in
the rear. Running this machine is a 5.0 liter engine with 36" Swampers under
it all. Brian enjoys wheeling and snowmobiling.
Dean Jahnz - Trophy King
Dean is single and lives in Randolph, MN. He is a machinist by trade. His
wheeler is a 1983 Mini Toyota with 4.88 gears, Toyota front axels and Toyota
Custom floater 9" rear. It is powered by a 88 Chevy 4.30 and his tires are
Swampers in the front and Boggers in the rear. Dean describes his building
of his Trophy like this: "In a garage far, far away......(Star Wars theme)
Dean has been working on his wheeler since he bought it in 1988...and thru
a major force of the dark side he is still getting his truck to be the trophy
of all trophies! Dean enjoys wheeling,
drinking beer, wheeling, snowmobiling, and wheeling. Dean was also featured
on the cover of the December 2000 issue of Petersen's Off-Road magazine!
Jeff & Joni Wendt - Air Wheeling
Jeff & Joni live in Prior Lake, MN with their 3 kids. Jeff
is a Plant Operator and Joni is a waitress. Their Jeep is a 94/89 Jeep/Toyota,
Wrangler/Truck. Jeff is been known to run the circuit of the National Tuff
Truck Assoc. Jeff & Joni agree that landing on all 4 wheels is better then
landing on the roof.
Dan & Angie Shingledecker (Jr.) - I know
I can!
Dan (other wise known as Jr.), Angie, and thier daughter live in
Maiden Rock, WI. Dan is a Machinist by trade. His 1952 Willys PU has 4.10
gears, 44 axels and a 14 bolt rear. It is powered by a 350 motor with 38"
Swampers under it. Jr. says that all of this was done with a lot of help and
engineering from his good friend Rod Miller. Jr. enjoys wheeling trucks and
quads, building trucks, and farming.
Lance & Trish Hammer -What a cute baby!

Lance, Trish & their son Jacob, live in Faribault, MN. Lance is a Machinist by trade. His truck is a 1982 S-10 with 5.13 gears, the axels front & rear are 1 ton, this truck is powered by a 350 Chevy engine and has 38.5 tires under it. Lance loves wheeling and is a fan of Jeff Gordon. Lance & Trish's truck was featured in Petersens' Off-Road magazine in the November 2000 issue.
Kyle & Jenny Schneider - Hunting for hills
Kyle & Jenny and little Alex live in Hastings, MN. Kyle
is self employed. Their truck is a 1975 Toyota Land Cruiser. 4.11 Gears,
350 Chevy engine, Toyota front & rear axels, and 35" Swampers.
Kyle said that building his Landcruiser was "Slow but sure". Kyle
enjoys Hunting, Fishing, & Wheeling.
Monte Foyte - Cruisin
Monte is single and lives in Hastings, MN. Monte is a Machinist.
His truck is a 1976 Ford Bronco with 5.38 gears, 351 Windsor engine w/ world
product heads., Dana 44 front, Ford 9" rear, c-4 tranny w/ manual valve
body & 3000 rpm stall converter, spooled rear end, power lock front,
MSD ignition, Mallory Unilite distributor, & 35" & 40"
Swampers. Monte likes camping, 4-wheeling, ATV's, & beer.
Jason & Debbie Anderson - Home made ramp meter?
Jason & Debbie live in Hastings, MN. Jason is a Machinist.
Their truck is a 1972 Ford Bronco with 44" rear & 9" front,
302 motor, & 38" Swampers. Jason drove his bronco from Idaho to
Minnesota, tore it all apart, rebuilt it & painted it. Jason enjoys
hunting, fishing, & 4-wheeling.
Mike & Sue Lee - Up, Up & Away!
Mike & Sue live in, Elko, MN. Mike is self employed.
Their rig is a 1985 Toyota with 4:10 gears, ARB Locker front, Lockright
rear, 4.3V6 motor, 4.7 to 1 transfer case, and 35" Mickey Thompson
Baja Claws.

Dave and Marilyn live in Two Harbors, MN. They have three kids, daughter Andrea 13, son Matt 16, son Steve 25, two grand sons, Tyler 2, Preston less than 6 months old and Buddy, their dog. Dave is a Tow Truck driver up there. Their rig is a 1970 CJ5, fiberglass tub and steel front end. Bought it 6 years ago and haven't stooped working on it yet! Mod's include 3" suspension lift and 2' body lift, J10 truck dana 44's full width measures 82" wide by 82" wheel base locked front and rear, dana 20 twin stick transfer case, T14 transmission, power steering, Buick 225 V6. Hobbies include motorcycle trail riding, Jeep trail riding, spending money on my Jeep.
Monica Vanderborght - Boy Toy

Monica lives in Farmington, MN. She
has one daughter, one grandson, The BoyToy, and a motorcycle named Tuvak.
She is a school teacher and an officer in the Naval Reserves. BoyToy is
a 1999 TJ Sport with many of the creature comforts, obnoxious yellow Durabak
on the tub/bumpers/rocker panels, a 4" Superlift, 33x10.5 SuperSwampers,
Dana44/limited slip rear, and an ARB front locker. Monica has taken advantage
of her time off to wheel the Boy in Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa,
and even Colorado.
Joe & Kathy Heckman
Joe & Kathy have been married for 28 years. They have one dog named
Socrates, Sake for short. TheirJeep is a 1986 CJ7 with a 258 I6, T176 tranny,
Dana 300 T-case, Dana 30 in front, Dana 44 in back. 4.10 gears and lockrites
front and back. Warn M8000 winch and custom home built on-board air.
