Justin glared at Joey, then at Lance. “What the hell are
you guys doing here, at my girlfriends house?”
Joey didn’t step down. He got right in Justin’s face. “We don’t have to tell
you why we’re here.”
“You do since this is where my girlfriend lives,” Justin said looking mad.
Joey and Lance looked at each other and laughed before exiting out the gate.
Justin put them in the back of his mind and went up to the porch and knocked
on the door.
When Christina saw him through the peep hole, she locked the door then went
back to what she was doing. He got confused after he knocked several times
and she didn't answer.
“She saw what we did in the cafeteria,” Missy said coming up behind him.
“She what?” Justin said getting more mad. “How the hell did she find out.
Did you tell her?”
“Would I do that to you, baby?” Missy asked placing her arm on his shoulder.
“She saw us herself. She told me when she came back from school.”
“Now she’s probably going to dump me!”
“So? She was never good for you anyway,” she said putting a finger over Justin's
lips. He removed her finger and began to walk away. “Where are you going?”
He didn’t look back. He walked out of the gate and down to the street. “Home.”
Christina was watching through the window. She couldn't believe Justin thought
she wasn't smart enough to find out. Did he think she was that stupid? She
decided to ignore it for now. She would get Justin back for what he did to
her.
---The Next Day---
Lila and Lance were walking around the school before the bell rang. “You
ran into Justin?” Lila repeated.
“Yeah, and he’s a real rude guy.” Not like he didn’t know that before.
“Hey guys,” Chris and JC said at the same time as they ran up to Lance and
Lila. Both were out of breath.
“We both got the lead vocals for the next concert! Isn't that great?” JC
was very excited.
“That's where you guys were,” Lance realized. “Me and Joey were looking for
you after school, we forgot you had practice. You'll never guess where me
and Joey went.”
Chris picked up his math book that he dropped on the floor. “Where?” he asked.
“To Christina's house,” Lance said. The others looked at him and just laughed.
“I’m serious guys, we went to her house and Big Bad Justin showed up.”
“No way,” JC said. “What did he say to you?”
Lila looked concerned. “Lance, what did he do to you?”
“We didn’t give him much time to say anything,” Joey said. Lance was too
busy to answer. Lila was rubbing her hands over his back.
JC rolled his eyes at the picture in front of him. He turned back to Joey.
“Did he say anything?”
Joey shook his head. “Not really. He just asked us what we were doing at
his girlfriend’s house.”
“Is she still going out with him?” Chris asked.
“As far as I know,” Joey said. “But I’m going to change that.” He seemed
very confident.
“Really?” JC raised an eyebrow. “And how exactly do you plan to do that?”
Joey thought for a minute. “I’m not sure yet.”
“Didn’t think so,” Chris said. “Come on, man. You could so go after her.”
“What kind of girl would date that scum bag, anyway?” Joey said.
The guys covered their faces with their hands.
“What’s wrong with you guys?” Joey asked. He just shook his head. “I swear,
you guys are strange.”
When Joey turned around, Justin was standing there.
“You going to get it, boy,” Justin said in anger. “After school, outside
by the parking lot. If you’re not there, consider yourself dead.” He gave
Joey one last glare, then disappeared down the hallway with his friends.
