Justin walked into his house and saw his friends standing in the hallway, with their arms over their chests.

“What?” he asked as he closed the front door. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

JC was the first to speak. “I can’t believe you.”

Justin shrugged out of his jacket. “What did I do?” he asked.

“Do you not notice someone missing?” Joey inquired, stepping forward.

“What?” Justin was more confused then when he first walked in the door. “Who? What?”

“You never even came to say goodbye to her,” Lance pointed out.

“Who?” Justin was even more confused. “Would someone tell me what is going on?”

“You can't hide from me. I know your back with Meg!” JC said.

The other guys, except Justin, who was looking the other way, jaw's dropped.

“Why don't you tell them, Justin? You're back with that little....excuse my language, that bitch!” JC growled.

“She's not a bitch,” Justin said, taking a step towards JC. “She loves me, and yes, we are back together.” He glanced towards the others, who didn’t look at all pleased by that announcement.

JC glared at him. “What the hell are you thinking?” Joey exclaimed.

“You don't understand, I love her!” Justin yelled. “And what right do you have to tell me who I can and can't see?”

“Well you obviously too busy with your new girlfriend to say goodbye to Elizabeth,” Lance said. “I’m sure she really appreciated it, considering you two have become so close.”

Justin's direction turned to Lance. He was shocked by Lance's words. Where had she gone?

“What are you talking about?” Justin asked.

“Oh you didn't know?” JC was still glaring at him. “She left. She's gone back to live to Miami, and I thought you cared about her enough to come say goodbye. But I guess I was wrong.”

Justin's heart sank. She had left because of him, and he knew it.

        “I didn't know,” he said.

“Yeah cause you were too busy,” Joey said heading for the door, the others following him. They were very disappointed in Justin.

“Where are you guys going? I thought we were going to a club?” Justin asked, watching him friends opening the door, about to leave.

“We don't want to hang around you right now,” Chris said angrily as he slammed the door behind them.

Justin couldn't believe it. She was gone. But what could he do? He hurt her enough for her not able to be around Anna anymore. He knew right there and then that she did indeed really care about him.

        ----A Few Months Later----

“There is no way I am going!” Meg exclaimed, sitting on the couch, refusing to put her coat on.

“Why must you be so difficult?” Justin asked, walking over to her. “It's just one game. I don't ask very much of you.”

“I know but I don't want to go. Basketball is so stupid and boring!” Meg said, turning on the TV to “Jerry Springer.”

“And that isn't?” Justin pointed at the TV, where two women were fighting over one man. He didn't know it before, but it hit him as he stared at the two women. They were so different from each other, just as Meg and Elizabeth were.

Justin was so unhappy, he and Meg did nothing but make out and fight with each other. It would have been much different with Elizabeth, and he knew it. He should have chosen her.

The first month, he had been miserable without her. He missed going to basketball games with her, going to the beach, and talking, mainly just hanging out with her. She made his day brighter and she actually enjoyed to do things he wanted to do, unlike Meg.

“Well I'm going, have a nice night.” Justin grabbed his keys off the coffee table, then slammed the front door, before getting into his car and driving off.

        ----A Few Hours Later----

He never made it to the game. He didn't want to go. He just walked around the beach, thinking. He realized now what a fool he had been. Why had it taken him so long to realize who he really loved?

It was almost midnight, and Justin was still at the beach, kicking his feet in the sand. The guys were right, Meg wasn't the kind of girl for him, Elizabeth was.

He found himself laying in the sand crying his eyes out, till he couldn't cry anymore. He had lost her for sure. She would never give him another chance after the way he treated her. He knew there was only one way to find out.

Justin got off the sand and stopped feeling sorry for himself. He didn't go back to Meg's, he went to his house to pack an overnight bag, then made his way to Anna's.

Anna looked through the peephole. “Who is it?” JC asked from the couch.

“It's Justin.” Anna sighed, she opened the door. “What do you want?” she snapped.

“Please,” Justin begged. “Where is she?”

“Oh you mean the girl whose heart you broke?” Anna snapped.

“Please, I need to find her. I need to tell her that she was right,” he cried.

After JC heard the tone of Justin‘s voice, he got off the couch and came to the door. “Justin, what's wrong?” he asked concerned. They hadn’t spoken in days. Justin had been keeping his distance from the guys lately.

Actually Meg refused to let him spend time with them.

“She was right,” Justin said. “I don't love Meg, I love her.”

Anna's mouth dropped. “Oh please!” She didn't believe him as much as she wanted to. She slammed the door in Justin's face.

He couldn't give up, Justin told himself as he got back in his car. He knew what he had to do; he drove to Meg's.

“I'm coming!” As soon as Justin heard Meg's voice, he pulled himself together. “Hey baby,” she said, opening the door. She leaned in to kiss him, but he pulled away.

“I just came to tell you that we're over for good.”

“Excuse me?” Meg said, not believing his words. “Baby, why don't you come in and we can talk.”

“I'm not coming in,” he said. “Never again, goodbye.” Justin started to head out the door, but Meg grabbed him and kissed him, but Justin pulled away. “Goodbye,” he repeated coldly.

        “It's her, isn't it?”

He nodded. “I love her, not you. It’s just took some time for me to see that. Now if you'll excuse me.…”

Meg couldn't believe her ears. “So you know Justin, I set the whole thing up at the hospital for her to think Rob was abusing me, but he wasn't. She played right into my hands.” She grinned.

“I can't believe you could be so cold to anyone. I'll get her back,” he promised coldly. He slammed the door behind him and left, heading to Miami. He just hoped he knew how to get there.
