The very first Davis Family Reunion was held in Niles, Michigan in 1982 with the Elisha Davis family hosting the event.
Ten years passed before the next reunion was held and once again the location was Niles. At that gathering the family discussed and then committed to holding a reunion every two years at various locations, on the first weekend in August. Those reunions are listed above.

The 2000 Davis Family Reunion was held August 4-6 in Portland, Oregon at the Radisson Hotel. Raleigh and Donnie (Holt) Lewis were the host family. The Horizon Ball Room was the scene of the Saturday night banquet, and Mardi Gras was the theme. |
