Monks: Description.

Greetings poets of the realms..

To become a Monk is to become someone who is watched, who is seen, who is judged...

Some may look at being a monk as a way to "be somebody".
but that is a samudaya(cause of suffering)...

I look at it as being a way to further learn the ways of Buddha..  To find the true way to be unbound in this life..
I seek enlightenment and follow the four noble truths and the eight fold path..

Being a Monk means that time and resources should and are devoted to the community.. To either the community of Monks, or a community as a whole...

To have no needs for selfish acclaimations, honors, embellishments or personal gain.  To only wish to spread the love and joy, knowledge and wisdom which you will find  on the path to Nirvana.

Undemanding, and generous, kind and selfless...spreading further the truth and love to those in need, providing a listening post for those whom suffer with indecision.  A Monk may provide many with an example of what they may share of their lives if they develop themselves more fully without egocentric interferrence.

I am but a humble Monk on the path to enlightenment.. Knowledge is what I wish to share.. Wisdom is what I wish to give.. Nirvana is all I wish to obtain..
