Geomancers: Art.

Geomancers are one with Nature. They respect and nurture it, as it does them. Gaia (An ancient name for the personification of Earth), nourishes, and provides sanctuary for them. In return, they serve it unquestionably in their quest the achieve harmony
with their environment.

Geomancers achieve this harmony and balance with nature by communicating, feeling and harnessing its Chi. Geomancers Earth magicks are drawn from the Heart of Nature; its Chi. They follow the philosophy: Chi first, Kingdom Second.
Chi is a life essence of all entities, both living, and inanimate. All things posses Chi, although in varying strengths and quantities. Chi is both a part of the Body, Mind and Soul of a being. It is the core of its existence. Geomancers believe in the concept of neutral Chi. Although there is also Good and Evil Chi (OOC: See IronHeart Quest: 'Spelunking'). People possess Neutral Chi as we are born of Nature. Neutrality is the concept of no entity being entirely Good or Evil, there are no moral absolutes. Each person has Chi made up of both the forces; without one, the other couldn't exist. E.g.: Earth can be seen as neutral. The Earth supplies both Bane and Boon to it's inhabitants. The Sun providing us with warmth and comfort is seen as a Good act.. Whereas it can also
bring drought and aridity, this can be seen as an Evil trait. Consequently, since all beings are born of nature, they inherit it's characteristic of Neutral Chi. Chi drives ones emotions. It gives us Guidance. Often, Geomancers communicate with
Nature's Chi for 'advice and counselling'. The Chi can sing to them of serene and tranquil times if it is in harmony. Although, the Chi can be in disharmony and can be in a state of perplexment and anarchy. Ones Chi can be channelled into a person to perform amazing and at times awesome feats of both Body and Mind. If ones Chi is strong, it can bring shifts upon the land.
"To adhere to the path of mystery, would make it not a path at all. It unearths another of greater mystery." Chi is one of these mysteries. A part of us all, while essential is not fully understood.

Geomancers also believe in the Harmony of all objects and their relationship to the land. This practice is known as Feng Shui.
(OOC: Pronounced Fung Shu-ey). Often, Feng Shui is directly related to the Chi of objects and the land. OOC: It is a sacred practise which has origins in Ancient Korea and China. Feng Shui teaches that the Chi of the Land, must be proportionate to the objects in it. Feng Shui, if practised correctly can bring good fortune to those practising it. Good Chi can be harnessed to provide good luck, give guidance or show wisdom. If by some unfortunate mishap, Evil Chi is acquired, this could bring grievous fortune on the
person(s) practising the art. Direction, Time, Space and the Three Dimensions (I.e.: Height, Length and Width)
all play a major role in the practice of Feng Shui. The arrangement of objects is critical as to not hamper or halt the flow of Chi through the land. Certain Shapes direct Chi better. A  Circle, Octagon or anything circular are especially favoured.
Certain objects have a higher Chi value or attract Good Chi. E.g.: A Crystal, or Mirror is of good value for someone practising Feng Shui. Chimes add harmonious qualities to the Chi, bringing calm and prosperity. Feng Shui teaches us how to respect and value Natures Chi.

In conclusion, it can be seen that Geomancers and Nature have a symbiotic relationship. One depends on the other, I.e.: Interdependence. Chi is a part of all, and Feng Shui is a way in which we can achieve balance and harmony with the Chi. Tis through the Chi Geomancers obtain their Arcane Elemental Magicks.
