One Core Geomancer Philosophy is the Thoery of Neutrality. It is perhaps the basis of Alignment and Alliances. Neutrality can be explained as recognising that all things are encompassed by two opposing forces, both Good and Evil.Perfect Harmony is acheived when the two forces are in Balance, neither dominating the other. This Philosphy is derived from the fact that Nature is the Mother of all and Nature itself is Neutral. For example: The Rain is both a Blessing and a Bane for the inhabitants of the Land. The Rain can bring Prsoperity in economy through growth of crops, it can also fill Rivers for Drinking Water, which is what all Life is Drawn from. This side of Rain is considered Good. But there is also the Dark Side of the Rain. Consider a Tempestuous Storm which destroys entire Cities or a Flash Flood which will Strike innocents unknowingly. This is considered an Evil Trait of the Rain.Consequently, it can be seen that Nature is of Neutral Alignment. Therefore, Geomancers try to Mimic this Quality, as we are of Natures Soul.Qi (Chi) is the Factor which derives ones alignment. It is the essence of all Living. There is both Good and Evil Chi, Geomancers consider themselves as Neutral and as such try to mantain Balanced Chi, both Within Themselves and Gaia.A Disturbance in Chi could have Dire consequences.The Tao is the Philosophy by which Geomancers attain this Neutrality. The Origin of all in Anarchy, but the Tao brings Balance and Harmony. Concluisivley, it can be seen that Qi Neutrality Determines Geomancer Way of Life, Alignments and Alliances.
