A Druid is neither Good, nor evil. We are neutral, as Nature itself is neutral. In Nature, there is no such thing as good or evil. However, Druids are not one to tell lies.
Druids are knowledgeable, and speak only truth when their knowledge is required.
Druids hold the Trees above all other flora as a deity. Druids have an obligation to protect these trees, as well as wild plants, crops, and to a lesser extent, our human followers and animals. Thus, a Druid will never destroy a forest or crop, no matter the circumstance. Similarly, Druids avoid killing wild animals, or even domestic ones, except for self-preservation and sustenance. If a Druid observes any creature destroying the flora or fauna, the Druid would unlikely risk his/her life to prevent the destruction. Rather, it is probable that the Druid would seek revenge at a later date, as opportunity presents itself.
A Druid is able to identify all plants, animals, and have the ability to purify water. A Druid is able to change his/her form to match any fauna. Druids speak their own language in addition to the common language spoken by the community.
Druids do not dwell permanently in Castles, or even cities or towns. All Druids prefer to live in Sacred Groves, Logs, or Stone buildings or a small size. Druids will also inhabit building complexes set in woodlands and similar natural surroundings.
A Druid's connection to nature is the source of all his/her powers, both in society and in magic. By understanding that connection, a Druid's being is joined with nature, and so she becomes aware of all that is known to nature, which is all things. A Druid then is a kind of nature mystic. Go into the woods, and listen. The voice of the Gods are not silent. Their language is the blowing wind and the waves of the great pouring sea.
Druid magic is the result of a strong and healthy awareness of nature, and the spirits and Gods who live in nature. A Druid must understand the language that Nature uses to speak its wisdom.

-Great Druid- -Xenic-
((I found this which is posted by Xenic as a Great Druid, as you can see, he has modified it a bit, it is similar to page 1 but also different enough I decided to post it to show how one changes as one grows within a subpath.)) |
