Divination Titles.
Oracle: A person considered to be a source of wise counsel or prophetic opinions.
FortuneTeller: one who professes to tell future events in the life of another.
Soothsayer: divination by observing the clouds to divine ones future.
Prophet: (Seer) A person gifted with profound moral insight. One who prophesies, or foretells events.
augur - (in ancient Rome) a religious official who interpreted omens to guide public policy. Also, An official diviner who foretold events by the singing, chattering, flight, and feeding of birds, or by signs or omens derived from celestial phenomena, certain appearances of quadrupeds, or unusual occurrences.
auspex - An augur of ancient Rome, especially one who interpreted omens derived from the observation of birds.
aruspex - A priest in ancient Rome who practiced divination by the inspection of the entrails of animals.
Aruspice - A soothsayer of ancient Rome. Same as Aruspex.
