Tech in the Classroom
This blog shares my ideas and experiences with technology in an elementary classroom.
Entry for September 20, 2006
Like the others in this course (Using the Internet in Education) , I spend hour upon hour on the computer reading postings, creating and editing webpages, reading articles and searching sites that Dr. Z recommends.  It's amazing that the time seems to fly.   The past few days I've been exploring teachade and bloglines.  I think that teachade has the potential to connect teachers and to allow them to get out there and see what others are doing.   Just browsing the site has uncovered some interesting groups to join (the venting group.  I like that one).  I'm interested in seeing how this course and the group project works using this tool.  If it works well, I'm going to suggest it to the teachers I work with to get us really pooling our knowledge to help our students.

Why wait? You're a pioneer. Take the tool and use it to your benefit. I know you too well. You can't hide. LOL

Spending long hours online is part of the package. I'm sure I've made a few enemies with spouses tired of their partners on the computer. Welcome to my world. *grin*
