Technology and I have a love hate relationship.  Sometimes I love it.  Other times it make me insane.  Today I used PowerPoint to share notes and a few video clips on the phases of the moon with my students.  Sounds simple enough, but for some reason the laptop and projector I was using was taking forever to do a simple task (like run PowerPoint). 

 I actually tried getting it to work for me yesterday and ran into trouble, so I went to do today's lesson yesterday which would give me time to mess around with the laptop.  This morning it took about 40 minutes to get PowerPoint to load.  I finally decided to change plans again, but as I was regrouping the media specialist came  in to save the day and set up the other laptop and projector for me. 

It ended up being a good lesson, but when the technology doesn't work it can be so frustrating.  I've learned that plan b's are essential.  I also learned that my school (or I) needs to do some investing in more up to date technology.
