This week I will begin a new unit of study with my science classes...The Earth, Sun, and Moon.  I've planned to use the webquest called Space Cadets, that I created with Chauncey and Marlaina . 

I also plan to introduce the unit with a short powerpoint and video.    If I can get the laptop to work in my classroom I'll be in good shape.  To make sure that I can get the video to work I'll make sure that I download it from unitedstreaming.  Last time I had set up my powerpoint with a link to the site as opposed to a downloaded video.  You could probably guess I could access the internet and had to have the student individually watch the video.  Not a tragedy, but I took quit a bit longer.  Well wish me luck.
