The following is a list of websites and a brief description of each.  They all can be used to assist districts, schools, and teachers improve their professional practices by setting up efficient communications systems, organizing curriculum templates, model integration of technology such as digital video, and help develop lesson plans that integrate technology across the curriculum.

This is a site that organizes and manages professional development for teachers and administrators.  Each teacher has an account which keeps track of conferences, in-service programs, workshops, and courses that have been taken.  It also informs those on staff of upcoming opportunities for professional development.

This company provides digital options for teachers and students.  Curriculum, lessons, and assessments can be developed and implemented.  Four different programs are offered.  Waterford, a program that helps develop early skills in reading, math and science.  Success Maker Enterprise combines curriculum, management, and assessment to help individualize instruction.  Knowledge box is a catalogue of digital lessons that can be adapted to meet the needs of different types of learners.  NovaNet is an on-line curriculum source gear toward old learners, those in grades 6-12.

Echalk is a web-based communication tool that allows for easy and efficient communication between parents, teachers, administrators.  The system offers user-friendly email, teacher and group WebPages that are easily created, edited and updated, and available memory for each teacher to upload and save important documents which can be used anywhere.

The AECT or Association for Education Communication and Technology is an organization that promotes the use of educational technologies throughout the various curricula.  The website offers teachers information regarding conferences, research, and resources. 

Teachade.

Teachade is an online community of educators who share curriculum, resources and ideas on issues important to members.
