All State/Honors Choir Buds |
|
|
|
These people are by far the coolest I have met. They come from all over the state of South Dakota. The main catch is that me and them share a great interest: music. I met many of these cool people this summer at The South Dakota Honors Choir Camp on the campus of SDSU. I spent a week with them, and I didn't want to leave when it was done. I also reunited with them for about three days in Rapid City at All-State Chorus. I also met other people at All-State Chorus, and many of them were very fun to be with. Dan also had the hots for a couple of them. I look forward to seeing a few of these people in the future at show choir competitions, and Region IV Music Events, and possibly college. |

This is me and Eric Brandner with Amber Buck from Scotland at Honors Choir camp at SDSU last summer. I wish I could've seen her at All-State. AND ME AND ERIC ARE POSED WITH THE 2003 HOMECOMING QUEEN OF SCOTLAND! PINCH ME! I'M DREAMING!!! |

This is the quartet from Groton I sat by at All-State. (l-r) Laura Lund (soprano, a very cool person, great friend), Lucius Geffre (A TENOR!!! Funny guy), Justin Jensen (bass, the one calling me and Dan Neo and Morpheus), Desiree Giedt (their alto). |

This is my bud Joe Colago from Sisseton. He is wearing a Looney Tunes tie! What is unique is that me and him were the only ones at Honors Choir camp with "flamboyant" ties. I had Tigger, he had Looney Tunes. He also saw me at Honors Choir auditions in Huron. Click here for the story. |

This is my room-mate Mike Clark from Vermillion. He is a very funny guy. One of the funniest things he did was just mix up German words, because he was fed-up with the guys' German piece. And what was cool was how me and him would harmonize to the BeeGees' "Staying Alive." He'd take the high part, and it was awesome. Sux that he wasn't at All State Chorus though. He told me he was getting an acoustic-electric for his birthday, and he said he would give me his Alvarez if he got one, but it still never happened yet. Oh well. Ladies, from what I think, he is single and looking!!! So get him while you still can!!! |

(Jess McQuillen is going to hate me for this) From left to right are Jordan Bierman (need I say more?) from CHS, one of my Honor Choir friends Amanda Rausch from Milbank, and Kate Wismer from Britton. Kate and I were in a play at the Capitol Theater. The play was "Peter Pan." She was Wendy, I was John, so I guess you can say she is my big sister; she also goes to SDSU with me with the same major!!! |

This is Arianna Coplan from Rapid City Stevens, and Amber Buck from Scotland. They were both cool to talk to, and I miss them lots!!! |
