Unfortunately Gillian was not nominated for her work in House of Mirth and neither was the movie.
Production Designer Corey Kaplan has been nominated for an award by the Art Director's Guild for her work on "Without". The winners will be announced on February 24.
Gillian had been nominated for a SAG award in the category 'Best Female Actor in a Drama Series'. Unfortunately she wasn't nominated for HoM. The awards air in the US in March
Director of Photography Bill Roe is nominated for an American Cinematography Award for his work on Patience. Winners will be named on February 18.

Opening Credits:
The opening credits of the X-Files have been changed for season eight. We don't get to see the globe with lightening bolts or the glowing fingerprint. Their are new photographs for Mulder and Scully, followed by Doggett's badge. After RP's credit there is a foetus then as a moon crosses over the foetus like and eclipse the foetus turns into the sun. Mulder then enters the screen falling. The moon turns into the pupil of an eye and Mulder falls into the eye. When it draws back we see that it is Scully's eye, she then blinks. Sound intriguing?
Evolution:
David is in negotiations to star with Julianne Moore in a sci-fi comedy, Evolution. It has been described as the "Ghost busters for the new millenium." David will play a local college professor who, with a scientist, investigates an alien-laden meteor that crashes into the New Mexico desert.

Gillian Set To Hit The Stage:
Gillian is currently in talks about doing theatre work in Britain and looks like hitting the stage in the future. Gillian also plans to live part-time in Britain.
