Caron was well known by all to be "haze grey and underway." More often than not, you could find her at sea. My heart always skipped a beat when I heard a whistle followed by "Underway." I'm sure that any Caron sailor will tell you, there is nothing more peaceful than hearing the whine of the turbines, the swoosh of the sea passing by and gazing upwards to see the stars as we sailed to our next destination. |
