As you may well know, Jambi is a strategic area with abundant natural resources that can be exploited, both to satisfy domestic needs and to benefit exporters without jeopardizing the environment. Since the Autonomy Act No. 22, 1999 has been passed, the Indonesian local governments, including Jambi, will now have full authority concerning its own policy expect for foreign policy, defence, monetary, fiscal, religion, and other policies concerning strategic planning and national control. With that Act, the economy and politics will be stabilized and, therefore, will guarantee, not only investors or businessmen to do business and invest in Jambi, but also for anybody to enjoy its fine restaurants or to be excited by its many interesting cultural attractions safely.
